„The Ogre Inside“ handelt von inneren Kämpfen, dunklen Begierden und wie die Gesellschaft Dich in Deinem eigenen Willen unterdrückt. Diesen Kampf kann niemand gewinnen; der Oger, der Dich von innen verschlingt, gewinnt immer. Dieses Album ist eine Beschwörung, ein Weg, den Oger freizulassen, Dein „wahres“ Selbst zu umarmen und Deine dunkelsten Sehnsüchte auszudrücken. Es ist ein Aufruf zum Handeln.

In 2017, PORN released their third album “The Ogre Inside.- Act I”, the first act of a trilogy based on the enigmatic character Mr. Strangler. In September 2018, the French gothic metal / industrial rock band returns with a remix album of this opus.

“The Ogre Inside” is an album about inner struggle and deals with dark desires and how society can opresses you in your will. This is a fight no one can win; the Ogre that devours you from the inside always wins. This album is an invocation, a way to release the Ogre, to embrace your “true” self and let your darkest desires express themselves. It is an incitement to act.
