Über ein Jahr lang lag dieser nach einem Unfall im Koma und in "Kleiner Mann" wird das Hoffen und Flehen von Niebuhr und seiner Lebensgefährtin um den Vierzehnjährigen begreiflich gemacht. Die Ängste und Depressionen der Eltern schwingen mit, wenn MonoSapien in ihrem Erstlingswerk immer wieder beschwören: Komm, Kleiner Mann – Wach auf! Die Beschwörungen waren erfolgreich - der Sohn ist 2014 aus dem Koma wieder erwacht.


Can a song get anymore personal? With the help of "Kleiner Mann (Wach Auf)", Tom Niebuhr comes to terms with his experience of the aftermath of a severe accident his stepson was involved in. Following the accident, the young boy was in a coma for over a year. "Kleiner Mann" explains the hopes and pleas of Niebuhr and his long-term partner for the forteen year old. The parent´s anxiety and depressions resonate when MonoSapien in their debut single implore again and again: "Komm, Kleiner Mann, Wach Auf!" (Come on, little man, wake up!) The implorations were successful; in 2014 the boy came out of the coma.
