"Chapter One" ist ein Soundtrack, der das Ende der Zeit, das Ende der dunklen und erotischen Epochen, beschreibt.

Das erste Album von "An Erotic End Of Times" zelebriert das Leben und den Tod mit einer eindringlichen Mischung aus Gothic-, Industrial- und Metal-Stilrichtungen und bewegt sich musikalisch wie auch inhaltlich im Genre-Bereich zwischen Fields of The Nephilim, Type O Negative und Katatonia.

Philippe Deschemin, Sänger und Bandleader der Industrial / Metal Band PORN, und Erwan Frugier spielten in besagter Band zwischen 2005 und 2006 gemeinsam und starteten "An Erotic End Of Times" im Jahr 2015. Philippe ist ebenso Schriftsteller, Journalist und hält Vorträge an der französischen Universität Du Paris Viennois über politische Philosophie.

So vermitteln die Texte der Songs eine zugleich beschauliche wie universelle Message, die sich mit dem "Ende der Zeit", mit dem Ende einer Ära, einer Welt beschäftigen. Die düstere Stimmung des Themas manifestiert sich in Form einer Musik, die es vermag, die Genre-Grenzen zwischen Gothic, Industrial und Metal nahtlos verschmelzen zu lassen.

Der griechische Philosoph Platon sagte bereits, dass die Philosophy das Lernen zu sterben beschreibt. "An Erotic End Of Times" zeigen den Weg an das Ende der Zeit.

Bereits am 27.10. wurde die neue An Erotic End Of Times EP "Love Is The End" zusammen mit zwei Musikvideos der beiden Titel "Love Is The End" und "No Rights" veröffentlicht. Außerdem beherbergt die EP noch die Death Edit Version von "Love Is The End", sowie die Aura Shred Remix Version von "No Rights".

Philippe Deschemin und Erwan Frugier machen musikalisch genau dort weiter wo "Chapter One", das acht Track starke Debütalbumalbum endete.Industrial, Darkwave, Gothicrock und Metal verschmelzen auch auf der aktuellen EP derart miteinander, das man sich schon zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt auf das zweite Album An Erotic End Of Times Album freuen kann.

This is a soundtrack to celebrate the end of time, the end of the dark and erotic ages.

The first album of "An Erotic End Of Times" is a gothic, industrial rock and metal celebration of life and death. With "Chapter One" the duo lay the cornerstone of a musical work in the wake of dark and esoteric bands like Fields of the Nephilim, Type O Negative or Katatonia.

Philippe Deschemin, singer and band leader of the industrial rock/metal band PORN, and Erwan Frugier worked together in PORN between 2005 and 2006 and started "An Erotic End Of Times" in 2015. Philippe is also a novelist, scifi literature, journalist, and he gives lectures at the Université populaire du Pays Viennois about political philosophy.

So the lyrics are all at once introspective and with an universal message and built like movie scenes. They are related to a major purpose : the end of times, of an era, of a world. Listening to the eight tracks of the album, "An Erotic End Of Times" invite you to celebrate this special Armageddon dealing with the Eros of the life drive and exploring a gothic industrial and metal musical universe.
